Established in 1997 in Botswana, Botho University (BU) has swiftly evolved into a prominent tertiary education provider spanning five African countries: Botswana, Lesotho, Eswatini, Namibia, and Ghana, supplemented by an Online Learning Campus. All programs offered by Botho University are endorsed by respective regulatory bodies across its operational countries, with accreditation from the Human Resources Development Council (HRDC) marking its pioneering status among local tertiary institutions in Botswana. The university’s comprehensive range of qualifications spans from Certificate to Master’s levels, with imminent plans for doctoral programs. Boasting over 4500 students and nearly 300 staff members, Botho University extends its offerings beyond traditional academia, providing diverse short-term training programs tailored for in-service professionals and corporate clients.
